Thank you for your interest in having a pastor from New City Church perform your wedding ceremony. We know this is an exciting time for you, and we want to ensure we would be a good fit for your ceremony.

Below are a few basic questions that will provide some information about your wedding and the background of the bride and groom for the wedding officiant.

Please note, pre-marital counseling is a requirement to be married by a New City pastor. If you have someone other than your wedding officiant that you would like to do your pre-marital counseling, your plans must be approved by your officiant.

What are your plans for the wedding (estimated guest list size for the wedding, location of city, wedding date, etc.)?

Are there any special requests or hopes for your ceremony?

What does the Gospel mean to you?

Can you (both parties) briefly explain your faith journey if you have one?

Are either of you a current partner of New City Church?

Are either of you currently married or separated from someone else?

Has either person been married before? If so, please share briefly about that, including who filed for divorce, the reasons for divorce, date the divorce was finalized, and any other information you would like the church to know.

Is there anything else we should be aware of or you would like us to know?

What are your plans for pre-marital counseling? Do you prefer to go through pre-marital counseling with your New City officiant (6 session commitment) or do you have alternative plans?
