Caroline Creasman

Worship Director

Caroline Creasman is the worship director at New City Church. She is married to her husband Tim and mother to Oliver.

Caroline is an Asheville, NC, native who moved to Raleigh in 2018 to attend NC State University, earning a B.S. in Mathematics. In the summer of 2020, living with a former New City staff member and beginning to date her now husband, who already attended the church, she started coming and stayed because of the level of Christlike care and discipleship both in the church at large and particularly within the worship team. Before her position at New City, Caroline served in volunteer worship leading positions at various churches and ministries for over 10 years. In her spare time, Caroline enjoys tutoring math, thrifting, writing songs, and dancing to jazz music.

MY HOPE FOR NEW CITY CHURCH

My hope for New City Church is that it reflects Heaven by being a place to come, worship God, serve, and be served, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, ability, and socioeconomic status. I hope it is a place where people know that the unique ways in which they worship are essential parts of the Bride of Christ–that is the Church–and that there is no mold for the believer other than faith in Christ and following him. I pray that we bring the Kingdom to earth with the way we love and uplift each other, considering others as better than ourselves and having the mind of Christ. (Phil. 2) I hope that the music we sing unifies us in glorifying our Creator and Savior, and in faithfully running the race until he returns.
